The F Plate has been uniquely designed to be displayed on the back and front of vehicles following a funeral procession. This will alert other road users that any vehicle displaying the plates are together.
At present there is no universal sign for other road users to respect. Mourners have been known to become detached from a procession and have arrived late for a
service causing
added stress on an already stressful day.
More frightening is the fact that statistics show that there are a growing number of accidents, some fatal, that occur whilst people are trying to follow a funeral procession. I truly believe The F Plate will allow us to continue the tradition of following a Loved one to their final resting place in a safer and less stressful way.
